well got the head gasket kit for my car and the bottom end is getting sent off to a place that build engine and has a really good reputation for building them. and soon my car should be hitting the road soon (i hope)

unless your planning to boost it they r under powered. its like keeping a blind, deaf, broken nose, three legged hunting dog. you love that dog, but just because you love him doesnt detract from the fact that the dog sucks. keep your crap dog if you want. but get another dog thats gonna do the job when you go hunting. but that poor lame dog. you need to put him down. hes miserable. you can have him stuffed. well maybe not a good analogy. if you were to pick a motor to swap in other than the ka what would it be?

if i did swap in another engine i would love to swap in a BEAMS 3SGE out of a altezza RS200 but i dont have the money for that engine cause i they run pretty high and to swap it in and with being the first one to put it in i dont know everything i am going to need to swap it in

I hope the car was dead level when you stitch welded it and supported more then just sitting on the tires, and did you use a stitch welder, or an average mig/tig and cut notches in the joints to be filled? Otherwise all you did was stretch the metal and missalign the molecules by heating and cooling and created a weak spot

yes i had jack stands underneath it and i used just a regular wire feed welder cause its the only one i know how to use and have access to.

so i had to put a temp engine into the car it down the road a stock KA and well i blew that up so yea i have just come to the conclusion of selling her and getting into something differant and all my 240 stuff should be hopefully going soon but ohh well something is telling me to get into another car......i hope its something good......
