so i fucked up my optima yellow top. left it on the charger for way too long cause i forgot about with all my school shits. anyway its toast. went to batteries plus on 27st. to pick up something new. i was gonna pick up another optima but a redtop. then i got to describing what i needed it for and these guys got me all mixed up. i am now interested in the oddysey batteries which are a little lighter. they showed me a specific one that was smallish and didnt seem like it would work with my battery box cause it kinda sits like a normal battery would sit on its side. i saw anohter one that ice seen used in hondas and ive heard of some guys using honda civic batteries with their 240's that run fmic cause they are slim and will fit side ways where intercooler piping takes the spot of the old battery position. BUT i dont have that problem cause my shits in the back and it wont fit securely in my battery box and will slide around. anywho may question is if anyone runs non run o the mill batteries. what should i do? or should i go to autozone and pick up cheapie battery?
